Volunteering day: Monday 8th May 2023
On the Coronation weekend, the King has asked that Monday 8th May is celebrated as a volunteering day.
The Knit and Natter Group would like some help to polish the pews and the wood in the church. Led by Val, some of the wood has already been oiled, and now needs to be waxed.
We thought that if we had an army of volunteers from 10.30am until 12 midday, we could fulfil the King’s wish and achieve something for the village. We can supply the wax, cloths, teas and coffees if you could supply the labour.
Just turn up on the day and you will be allocated a pew or a door or a pulpit! It need only involve just half an hour of your time!
