Blogs: Update 13th December 2020

This week

It was great to be with you all last Sunday – and to have Justin to lead us. Join us again this week on Zoom or Conference Call at the usual time of 10.00am.

As usual, the zoom connection details, phone number and service sheet are available on the Resources page.

Coffee Morning

We always have a great time when we meet for coffee and a chat at 10.30am on Wednesday morning. Everyone is very welcome.

See the resources page for connection details.

What’s ahead

A service of Holy Communion will take place at Cruwys Morchard this week and on December 20th at Rackenford 11.15am. Please book seats via the church office, by 11.00am on Friday. If you wish to use your church for private prayer, please contact your local church warden.

There are several lay-led services planned over the next few weeks. Please book seats for these services via the Church Wardens.

Calverleigh are holding a Carol Service at 3.00pm on 13th December.

On Wednesday 16th December there will be Carol Singing at 6.00pm at Cruwys Morchard in the graveyard. Everyone is very welcome. Please wrap up warm and bring a torch!

Further services will be published in our supplement. But all services may alter, depending on government restrictions. Please check the website for up to date information.

The magazine supplement with details of Christmas Services has been published. All services will need to be booked. Services of Holy Communion should be booked through the Church Office. Other services should be booked through the warden of the parish church.

Hopefully the Christmas Trail should be up and running this week. It will stay in place until 12th Night. Follow the trail around the parishes, covering the whole Mission Community, using the map in the magazine supplement. If you make it to the end of the trail, to The Rectory at Withleigh, and if you are a child, come and claim your Christmas gift!

Online Services

Our Christmas Online Celebration is finished and is on the website now. Do please watch it and share it with others. Stephen has also given the flower festival a make-over – by adding some music! Seeing all those beautiful flowers may well help cheer us up this winter. We are extremely grateful to Stephen Roche and Dave Burton for making this happen.

Don’t forget you can listen the Sunday service here on the ‘Past Services’ page. We will be recording every service from now on so you can catch up or listen again.

With my continued love and prayers,

Steph
