Blogs: Update 20th September 2020

Our churches are open for Holy Communion at 11.15am each week. This week we will be at Cruwys Morchard and next week, 27th September, we will be at Calverleigh.

It is essential that you book a seat in church via the church office, or email or by leaving a message on the answer phone by 11am on the Friday before the service. Further details will be sent by email or put on the website during the week. Government guidance asks us all to wear face masks when in church.

The Conference Call service and the Zoom service will continue at 10am.

Harvest

We enjoyed a wonderful open-air Group Harvest Celebration at Calverleigh last week. The weather was perfect, and it was so good to be with everyone. We also raised £90 in donations. Thank you so much. And thank you to those who worked so hard to organise the space to keep us safe.

Please look out for further Harvest services in your local church. Loxbeare are holding a Harvest service on Saturday 19th September at 2.30pm and Washfield on Sunday 27 September at 11.15am. Please contact the wardens for booking details.

Exe Valley Online Harvest and will be available to view throughout October on the website. This will include harvest songs, prayers and photographs taken locally. Thank you to everyone who has sent in photographs, and thanks to Stephen Roche for his enthusiasm in making this happen!

APCMs

A change in government guidance means that as we will resume our round of APCM’s we will have to conduct them remotely. This is a bit of a challenge, but we need to complete our church business by the end of October, and I would welcome your prayers that we would be able to do so.

Lay led Services
