Wow. Where did that week go? We hope you had a good week and were able to join us this weekend for the Remembrance services. It was good to be reminded of the sacrifices made by relatives and neighbours a century ago, so that we don't repeat the mistakes of the past and make sure their sacrifice was not in vain.

Coming up this week in the Exe Valley:

• The Bible Course continues at Washfield Village Hall Wednesday 14th November starting with Supper at 6.30pm and starting at 7.30pm.
   
• This week we also have our monthly Sing Praise on Thursday (15th November) in Washfield Church at 7.00pm. Everyone would be most welcome as we join together to sing together songs and hymns old and new.
   
• Next Sunday 18th November at 10.00am Confirmation Service at Exeter Cathedral. Please note that there will not be a service in Calverleigh despite what was written in the last edition of the magazine as many in the congregation will be attending this service to support those from the Exe Valley being confirmed.
   
• Next Saturday (17th Nov) we are taking part in the Big Quiz at 6.30pm, starting with a Bring & share Supper at 7.45pm Start of quiz - Book your team in at the church Office office@exevalleymissioncommunity.org
   
• On December 2nd at 3.30pm we have our next Praise Party which will be a special Christingle Praise Party being held partly in the hall and partly in the church. Everyone, young and not so young, are welcome!
